well im going to start on the snow days that we had. i realy wanted to ride my mullet but it was left at school the last day before the snow days and i wanted to get it but the school was all locked up and i couldnt get it. i did have my old bd response but it has rim brakes and it didnt work too well in the snow. all i did during my snow days was sit at home and hunt a little bit. last fri when we rode late for lunch backwards. it was realy fun and im glad that we didnt go on the powerlines because it had like four inches of mud on it. i rode it the day beofre and it was terrible and i could barely move. yesterday (monday 3-5) we did three laps around the big triangle in 2-1. i was a little late because i was helping ben kendall with his broken chain that he broke on our friday ride in the mud. after we did all that we all had a flat tire by magic and we had to take off our tire, flatten it, remove the tube, show you and then put it back in. after that we had to fill it back up and but out tire back on. i had a realy hard time because i couldnt get my tire off with my hands and i had to get your tools to do it. then once i got it back on my front brakes were loced up and i was very mad because it was very hardt o ride up to the saddle. after i got up to the saddle i came back down and tried to fix my brakes and i did but my front hub is ruined and the berrings and shot. and also i have a click in my bottom bracket. this is all makeing me mad because it is a new bike only 1.5 months old and it shouldnt of done this. i am takeing this back the the shop on friday after school and im makeing them give me a new front hub and lube my bottom bracket. and hopefullt its all better. if it brakes again soon im makeing them give me my money back or at least most of it and im going to get a different bike. so when we ride on wednesday im probly going to have to ride a loaner bike. also today i read to page 57 on "its not about the bike" and it was talking about lance when he was young and winning a lot of his races but he was stupid and inexoperienced.

and wednesday we went out to fluff bunny all the way to stinky refridgerator and some people tried to climb it but not too many people made it to the top of the hill climb. i made it up with the top id have to say six people and it was a good ride that wasnt too hard but it was kinda cold and boreing. i have walking pnenomia so it didnt help me at all. i rode it alkl the way up. when i was comeine back down i had to go inbetween two ruts on a little ridge and i hit a brance and it left a good little welt on my right arm but it wasnt too bad. at least i didnt crash. on friday we went out to the limestones and i was still sick. i made it as far as mr. mchugh made it. james and jeff started back down and mchugh made them climb a little more with us. i did good comeing back down the hill. my brakes we squeaking pretty bad and they wernt working too well. but over the weekend i scraped the pads with steel wool and cleaned the disc with rubbing alcohol and now my brakes work very well but they still squeak. im happy now because they are very sharp and work well enough to do any downhilling i will need to do for a while.

yesterday our warm up was takeing the large triangle about two times and then wait for the rest to come back. we went to the limestones and tried to make it up to the saddle. mokst of us made it and i was about the 7 person up. comeing back down was realy fun. i olmost crashed by getting my rear end sucked into a rut at about 20 mph and i slid for about 5 feet but i eased my brakes until i was about 10 mph and pulled my rear end out of the rut. then we went bac konto the road and came back home. i think two people crashed. one was forest and the way that people made it sound it was good. and someone was doing a wheelie and got there brakes locked up and flipped backwards. i think it was shane. but im not shure. after all of the fun we went back to the school and washed off our bikes. i iddnt break anything on my bike. we were all pretty muddy and wet and cold but it was fun and i enjoyed it.

on friday we went up to tennesse ridge and it was very icy. i didnt wreck but most did. i made it to the top on my saddle and i didnt walk it any of the way. i did have to stop for a second except when i spun out for about one turn and have to use my feet to get started again. some ogals that i have would be to be able to fix a tire as fast as shaun gearheart.
